What is ADAS calibration?
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is the process of physically and electronically aligning the cameras and sensors on your windshield so they read road conditions correctly.
Is calibration mandatory after windshield replacement?
Yes. If your vehicle is equipped with a forward-facing camera, manufacturers require recalibration after a windshield replacement to ensure the safety systems function correctly.
How do I know if my car needs calibration?
If your car has features like Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Forward Collision Alert (FCA), or Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), it has a camera mounted to the windshield that requires calibration.
How long does calibration take?
It typically adds 30 to 60 minutes to your windshield replacement appointment, depending on whether your vehicle requires a static target setup or a dynamic road test.
Can you calibrate my car at my home?
Yes, in many cases we can perform Dynamic Calibrations mobile. For Static Calibrations requiring level ground and controlled lighting, we will advise you on the best location to ensure accuracy.
