Is side window glass different from windshields?
Yes. Side and back windows are typically made of "tempered" glass. It is heat-treated to crumble into small, dull chunks upon impact, whereas windshields use "laminated" glass designed to hold together.
Will the new glass match my other windows?
Yes, we use glass with the "Solar Green" or "Privacy" tint that comes standard from the factory. If you have aftermarket dark tint, that would need to be re-applied by a tint specialist later.
How long does it take to replace a door window?
Most appointments take about an hour. This includes the time needed to remove the door panel, vacuum the broken glass, and install the new window.
Can you fix the window motor if it's broken?
Sometimes the impact that breaks the glass also damages the regulator (the motor that moves the glass). We can inspect this during the repair and let you know if additional parts are needed.
Do you come to me?
Absolutely. We offer mobile service to homes and offices in Brockton, Abington, and surrounding areas so you don't have to drive a car with a missing window.
